Directions:
Brown meat, onion, garlic in large pot. Add tomatoes and break up with fork. Stir in sauce, parsley(2/3 of total), sugar, salt(half of total), basil. Heat to boiling and simmer, uncovered, 1 hour until mixture is the consistency of spaghetti sauce.
Make dairy free white sauce.
In dish layer noodles, meat sauce, white sauce mixture, and spinach if using. Two or three layers of each. Spread reserved meat sauce on on top.
Bake 45 mins uncovered. Let stand 10-15 mins after removing from oven for easier cutting. |

Directions:
Usual white sauce method. Melt spread. Mix in flour, stir in and cook a few minutes until bubbliy. Slowly add DF milk, stirring constantly until boiling. Add extras- nutmeg, salt, pepper, spinach etc Use as required. |
