Directions:
Combine butter, sugar, and golden syrup in a large pan and bring slowly up to the boil.
Mix water and soda and stir into the hot butter mix. The mixture will froth up so quickly stir in the flour.
Put out spoonfuls on cold lined trays leaving room for the biscuits to spread.
Bake at 180 deg for about 15 minutes.
Remove to rack when warm. |
