Directions:
Brown meat, onion, garlic in large pot. Add tomatoes and break up with fork. Stir in sauce, parsley(2/3 of total), sugar, salt(half of total), basil. Heat to boiling and simmer, uncovered, 1 hour until mixture is the consistency of spaghetti sauce.
Mix cottage cheese, parmesan (half of total), parsley flakes (remaining third), salt (remaining half), oregano. Reserve some meat sauce for top of lasagne.
In dish layer noodles, meat sauce, cottage cheese mixture, and tasty cheese. Two or three layers of each. Spread reserved meat sauce on top and sprinkle parmesan cheese over it.
Bake 45 mins uncovered. Let stand 10-15 mins after removing from oven for easier cutting. |
