Directions:
Steam the chopped silverbeet briefly until wilted. Drain well.
Melt the butter over a low heat. Stir in the flour and cook 1 minute. Pour in the milk a little at a time until the sauce thickens and bring to the boil. Remove from heat and add the egg, cheese and silverbeet.
Pour into a greased dish and bake about 45 minutes, or until set.
Note: - Use GF flour for a GF option.
- Substitute dairy free spread and soy milk and eliminate cheese for a dairy free option. |
