Directions:
Grate the onion, carrot, and unpeeled apple. Add the all the other ingredients* and mix thoroughly with your hands.
Shape into long logs on trays and bake at 190 C for about 1 hour, or until loaves feel firm in the middle. Leave to stand 10 minutes before slicing.
Serve with tomato sauce on the side.
* For a GF version, don't add the oats to a small amount of the mix. Blitz some GF bread, and add that instead. |
