Directions:
heat oil
fry mince until brown
dice and fry onions till brown
add carrots, celery and parsley
cook until soft
add mince to water, stock, tomatoes, herbs (bouquet garni)
season with salt and peper,
simmer for approx an hour, until most of the liquid has evaporated and mixture is thick
spoon beef mixture into a deep pan,
top with mashed potato,
sprinkle with paprika and cheese
bake at 180 C for 45 mins, until hot |
