Directions:
oven temp 160 C
cream butter and marg
add eggs one at a time
mix in vanilla, lemon juice and zest from lemons
fold in almonds BP and gluten free flour
NB do not over mix
grease or place baking paper in base of roasting dish
place fruit on base or on top of batter
[lovely with gooseberries on the bottom]
bake for 50 - 60 min till golden brown and set
dust with icing sugar to serve enjoy

Directions:
oven 160 C
line roasting pan or grease with baking spray
cream butter,sugar add eggs one at a time
mix in lemon zest and vanilla
gently stir in butter milk or yogurt with flour and BP till just mixed.
NB do not over mix
you can either put fruit of choice on bottom or top of mixture
bake 50 - 60 min till set and golden brown
dust with icing sugar to serve
