Directions:
Combine butter and chocolate in a saucepan. Stir constantly over a low heat until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and transfer mixture to a large bowl. Stir in sugar. Add eggs and vanilla essence and beat with a wooden spoon until combined.
Sift flour, baking powder and cocoa. Stir in to chocolate mixture. Transfer to a lined baking tin. Bake at 180C for about 50 minutes or until firm to touch, with cracks appearing on the surface. Cool in tin. Turn on to a chopping board, trim off edges and cut in to triangles. |
