Directions:
1) Mix dough (you already know how to do this).
2) Oil hands and divide dough into 8 to 10 balls.
3) Flatten with hands or an oiled rolling pin and form elongate ovals 1/2 inch thick.
4) Place on baking sheet and proof, covered, at 85°F for 1 to 2 hours or until doubled in bulk.
5) With an oiled finger, make three parallel grooves about 1/2" deep on the surface of each.
6) Preheat oven to 450°F. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
Remove from baking sheet and cool on wire racks. |
