Directions:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees C.
Line baking trays with baking paper.
Drain and dry chicken drums if necessary and lay out in single layer on baking trays.
Oil the drumsticks then sprinkle with seasoning of choice, plain salt and pepper is fine, thyme is nice, whatever you have.
Place in oven and bake 45-60 minutes (90 minutes when large quantities) until cooked (juice running clear from larger pieces). Remember putting a large volume of cold chicken in the oven will lower the oven temperature and it can take a while for the oven to get back up to heat, so allow extra time for this.
Pull out of oven, cover with foil and and rest 10 minutes if possible. Serve. |
